Marchesi di Barolo

Keepers of tradition

The Ancient Cellars of the Marquises of Barolo are based in Barolo, in the building facing the Castle of the Marquises Falletti. Right here, more than 200 years ago, a beautiful story began. The story of a winery, protected by rolling hills in the heart of the Langhe, where a wine was born which was then called Barolo in honor of the birthplace. Today, the Abbona family continues the work started more than two centuries ago: producing high quality wines, destined to enrich, year by year, the history of a large cellar where current events and tradition meet and where it is handed down, as a father in son, an important heritage of vineyards, cellars and knowledge for more than five generations.
