Friuli is a region where the elements are mixed, perhaps more than in any other. Thus we find, a few kilometers away, an alternation of mountains, hills, plains and sea. The Colmello di Grotta company covers an area of over 21 hectares, the vineyards are distributed in equal areas between the two PDO areas Collio and Isonzo, which although close to each other have completely different soils. This dual personality is the main feature of the company, which manages to produce wines with two personalities that complement each other perfectly: the Isonzo wines are fascinating and feminine, the Collio wines are powerful and masculine. The philosophy applied by the cellar is very simple: to take care of and continuously harmonize the details of the production cycle to bring the final product to ever higher quality levels.
