The history of Shibata-ya begins in 1935 with the decision of Goro Shiba to found his business in Japan and to devote himself to the sake market. Over time and with the advent of the new generations, the company has grown considerably and now Yasuhiro Shiba is at the helm, grandson of the founder and current president of the company founded in 1968 thanks to his father. In addition to the import-export of sake, which remains the main business of the company, Shibata-ya has also dedicated itself to the world of liqueurs, wine and beer to make known to us Westerners the true excellence of the Rising Sun.
