The historic Nicosia company was founded in 1898, when Francesco Nicosia, the great-grandfather of the current owner, decided to open the first winery on the eastern side of Etna. Today, Cantine Nicosia is a dynamic, modern and efficient company, capable of looking to the future while still fully respecting tradition, and promoting the Sicilian territory in Italy and throughout all the world, through a long process to produce wines worthy of representing the best Sicilian enological tradition!
