Montelio's adventure began two centuries ago, at the time when those lands so vocated to viticulture belonged to France.
More precisely - according to the revolutionary calendar adopted in 1792 with the proclamation of the République - on 17 Floril of the eleventh year, corresponding to 7 May 1803.
