The Elephant Gin line consists of award-winning handcrafted specimens obtained from rare African ingredients, a feature that makes the sensorial profiles and history of these very special spirits unique. Gin Elephants were invented in South Africa from the inspiration of the 'sundowner', a sort of traditional aperitif that is sipped at sunset after a day spent in the savannahs, and today they are produced by hand in Germany with a strong focus on production quality standards. The idea comes from an absolute and unchanged passion for nature, the scents, colors and flavors typical of the African tradition, together with the foresight in mixing these exotic plants with traditional gin botanists such as juniper and orange peel , to create a completely new premium product. The group also wants to give something back to what inspired Elephant Gin in the first place: in fact, it donates 15% of its profits to indigenous foundations that support the conservation of African wildlife
