The Caffo Distilleries boast an entrepreneurial history as fascinating as it is long-lived: in fact, they have their roots at the end of the 19th century when the family founder and Master Distiller Giuseppe Caffo began to distil marc on the slopes of the Etna volcano. Followed the foundation of the distillery in Sicilian land, precisely in Santa Venerina in the Catania area, whose production was initially based mainly on spirits, alcohol and derivatives of winemaking but which gradually became known on the market for some valuable and sought-after liqueurs obtained from ancient recipes, the result of patient and meticulous research and reworking.
By combining experience and innovation, the distillery business grew considerably both in Italy and abroad, so much so that today it has become a recognized brand of quality all over the world.
