Biova is the project that turns unsold bread into beer.
In Italy 13,000 quintals of bread are wasted. Not only on our tables. Much of this bread remains unsold. Biova is a circular economy project that can be many different beers, made with many different types of bread, to which all companies that want to act concretely against food waste can adhere. For each batch of Biova there are over 150 kg of bread recovered. 150 kg which allow to decrease raw materials (barley malt) by 30%, reducing the environmental impact.
