Like any adventure, the Angelo Poretti beer adventure also began with a journey: that of its founder in Austria, Bohemia and Bavaria, where he met the best Brewers and learned all the secrets of "knowing how to do beer well".
Angelo Poretti then returned to Italy and realized the dream of a lifetime: to open his personal brewery in Valganna in 1877 - a precious land for
its sources of pure water, essential ingredient for a real quality beer. Valganna is still, for over 130 years, the heart of the brewery that today pulsates all over the world.
In 1881, Angelo Poretti achieved his first great success: he was in fact called to participate in the National Exhibition of Milan. The definitive recognition of a true all-Italian quality beer came, however, in 2015, when Angelo Poretti became the official beer of the Italian Pavilion at EXPO Milano.
