Born from Enrico Piantato's desire to carry on the historic winemaking tradition of his grandfather Clemente Guasti, Laficaia takes its name from the fig tree, a symbol of fertility and family memory. Situated among the Piedmont hills, the estate combines the experience of a premier boutique resort with the production of wines of great character, deeply connected to the terroir of Monferrato and the Langhe.
